About us

Who are we you ask? Well let me tell you...

I started Paws In Motion in 2008 after I left a position in human resources at a seismic company. I have been passionate about dogs (all pets really) all of my life and I thought it was time to follow my passion and make a career out of it. I am the sole proprietor of Paws in Motion and my two wheaten terriers, Bella and Penny, are my little helpers.

I am trained in Pet First Aid through Prairie Training Services as well as Canine Fitness through E-Training For Dogs. I have had the pleasure of participating in two different behavior classes as well as a behavior seminar. The first class was Reactive Rover, offered through the Calgary Humane Society, and the other class was called Feisty Fido, which is offered through Impawsible Possible. The seminar, titled You're Not The Boss Of Me was offered by Happy Tails Dog Training. I was also fortunate enough to see Caesar Milan, The Dog Whisperer at the Stampede Corral in November 2012. It was a great evening filled with great information.

My goal with Paws In Motion is to provide the very best quality of care for your beloved pet while they are in my care. You can go to work (or out to play) and feel confident that your dog is safe and happy with me. We go out for walks in all types of weather and I use my best judgment if the weather starts to get really bad. We walk Monday to Friday, and Saturdays by special request. I will come to your house mid day and pick up your dog, go to the park, then bring them safely home.

Thank you for taking the time to learn a little about myself and my company. Bella, Penny and I look forward to seeing you at the dog park!
